Silver Star Banner Ceremony

<p>Cook County Board president Toni Preckwinkle and the Board of Commissioners will honor the service members and veterans of the United States Armed Forces who have been wounded or became ill while serving in a war zone. The Silver Star Families of America will be presented at the Cook County Board Meeting on June 29^th.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Applicant should complete the Silver Star Banner application form and include a short biography with details regarding their injury and the war zone in which it occurred. The request form must be signed and returned to our office no later than Wednesday, June 1^st.
