Secondary sources are vital legal tools that provide essential guidance and analysis in every area of the law. Oftentimes using secondary sources is the best place to start your research. You can get up to speed on a general area of law or dive deep into a specific subject. You can also use them to find primary law authority and may be able to use them as persuasive authority in arguments to the court.

The first part of this continuing legal education course will go through the types of secondary sources. The second half will focus on best practices and time saving tips while using secondary sources in your legal research.
