Proposed Business Case: House of Worship - Donor Model

Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish in Glenview serves more than 3,000 families. The campus was established in the early 1900s and has grown to include a school and many other facilities. The campus currently consists of 12 buildings and a 1.8 acre parking lot.

A community solar business case is being proposed that includes installing rooftop and carports to allow for a system of more than 500 kW. The church would be an anchor subscriber, with the model serving as a fundraising mechanism where parishioners can donate for the church’s share.. The remaining share would go to parishioners and their families, as well as households in the surrounding communities.
