Countywide Capital Projects

The Department of Capital Planning & Policy (DCPP) identifies countywide capital project by maintaining and up-dating Facility Condition Assessment reports. Projects of similar scope are package together across multiple building, campuses and portfolios. This initiative increases efficiency by enabling systematic planning and bundling for cost effective procurement.

In the current fiscal year, DCPP anticipates countywide capital projects of the following types:

• Fire and Life Safety System Upgrades
• American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Renovations
• Energy Efficiency Upgrades
• Interior Renovations to Support Consolidation and Reorganization
• Building Envelope Inspection & Stabilization
• Elevator Modernization
• Emergency Power Systems Upgrades
• Tenant Improvements to Support New Initiatives and Programs
