FY2017 Budget: Departmental Review Hearings

<p><strong><em>Departments: Sheriff, State&#39;s Attorney</em></strong></p><p>The proposed County&nbsp;budget is made available for public review at various locations throughout the County and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.cookcountyil.gov/Budget">online</a>.</p><p>Public hearings are conducted during which the Committee on Finance considers testimony from service providers, program staff, and the general public.</p><p>Departmental review hearings provide opportunity for each department to present an overview of their proposed budget and take questions from Commissioners.</p>
