<h3>Animal and Rabies Control Mobile Vaccination Clinic</h3><p>Cook County Animal and Rabies Control offers mobile, low-cost Rabies Clinics during the months of June to October. </p><h4>Requirements for participation are the following:</h4><ul><li>We accept Cash, Check, or Money Order Only - <u>No Credit or Debit cards</u></li><li>Photo ID is required for vaccine - Clinics are restricted to Cook County Residents Only</li></ul><p><strong>Fees</strong></p><ul><li>1 year Rabies Vaccine - $7.00 (dogs and cats)</li><li>3 year Rabies Vaccine - $21.00 (dogs and cats with proof of previous rabies vaccinations)</li><li>Ferret Vaccines - $9.00 (1 year immunity only)</li></ul><p> </p>
Please note the following instructions must be followed due to the highly contatious Canine Influenza Virus.
- No Microchips will be given at vaccine clinics
- No allowing animal to socialize
- Space animal three (3) feet apart from other pets not in your household
- Any animal displaying illness will be relocated to a greater distance
- Bring your own muzzles if necessary
- All animals have to be controlled by the owner or designated handler greater than 18 years of age for the vaccine. Animal Control personnel will not be able assist or use their equipment to subdue the animal
- All animals must be on a leash or in a carrying case. Animals must be removed from the carrying case for vaccinations
- There are no indoor facilities in which the vaccine may be given. The Veterinarian will not give the vaccine in your vehicle
- Bring bags with you for poop removal, we cannot predict wait time
