Cook County Board Approves Funding to Improve Transportation Throughout Cook County
The Cook County Board of Commissioners approved funding this week for transportation-related projects for the County’s Department of Transportation and Highways (DoTH). These vital projects boost economic development, build up regional transportation and improve the quality of life throughout Cook County.

Construction management services for the reconstruction of the Old Orchard Road corridor between Woods Drive and Skokie Boulevard.
Villages of Stickney and Forestview | $32,217,882
Reconstruction of the Central Avenue bridge roadway over the Chicago Ship and Sanitary Canal.
Villages of Stickney and Forestview | $4,796,720
Construction management services for the reconstruction of Central Avenue bridge roadway over the Chicago Ship and Sanitary Canal.
Cook County | $1,727,149
Replacing sidewalk curb ramps along roadways throughout the County.
