President Preckwinkle Launches Cook County Policy Roadmap Dashboard
Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle today launched a pilot of a public dashboard for the Cook County Policy Roadmap: Five-year Strategic Plan for the Offices Under the President. This dashboard is part of a newly upgraded Open Performance website that will also host Set Targets, Achieve Results (STAR) performance management dashboards, set to debut in Phase II of the upgrade.
“This dashboard allows residents to hold us accountable as we take steps toward building a more transparent Cook County, one that is built on a foundation of fairness and equity,” Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle said.
The new dashboard lets residents find data on the state of Cook County’s progress towards the goals of the Policy Roadmap. The pilot version launched today features 12 key performance indicators (KPIs) that span the six policy priorities covered by the Roadmap. Cook County will continue to add new KPIs, targets and related metrics.
The Policy Roadmap: Five-Year Strategic Plan for Offices Under the President lays the foundation for the next five years of work by the Offices Under the President (OUP) of Cook County. Created under the leadership of the President of the Cook County Board of Commissioners, Toni Preckwinkle, the Policy Roadmap incorporates key policy priorities and strategic objectives and reflects the administration’s core values of equity, engagement and excellence, and a vision for fostering safe, thriving and healthy communities.
