The Cook County Department of Animal and Rabies Control offers a wide variety of training opportunities throughout the year for animal first responders, community officers and law enforcement. Trainings are a mix of virtual presentations and in-person courses that require hands-on learning.
Types of training topics include:
- Large animal handling
- Illinois Herptiles - Herps Act

- Feral cat ordinance
- Essential animal services (modules a & b)
