This ordinance establishes an office of County Government known as the Office of Independent Inspector General ("OIIG"). The Independent Inspector General heads the OIIG. The organization and administration of the OIIG is sufficiently independent to assure that no interference or influence external to the office adversely affects the independence and objectivity of the Independent Inspector General.
