Event open to all military vets and their dependentsCook County Department of Veterans Affairs will host a resource workshop for veterans interested in information about owning a business and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Grantees include the Inspiration Corporation, WestCare Foundation, Westside Health Authority and Youth Outreach Service 

Matching individuals with vacant homes, working capital for rehabs and affordable mortgages

Voters will be asked whether they support banning the sale of assault weapons and requiring universal background checks for firearm transfers; and whether they believe the State should provide more funding for mental health treatment
