Planning and Development: Economic Development Division
The Economic Development Division of the Cook County Department of Planning and Development (DPD) manages programs designed to help businesses grow, expand and create jobs.
Our programs include:
- Cook County Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program
- No-Cash Bid Program
- Property tax incentives (Class 6b, Class 7, Class 8)
Eligible applicants vary by program and include public, private, and nonprofit organizations, businesses and business owners, and municipalities.
Please note: Some Cook County economic development funding for programs and projects is restricted to suburban Cook County. Additional requirements and restrictions also apply.
