Planning and Development: No Cash Bid (NCB) Program
The Cook County No Cash Bid (NCB) Program is an economic development tool designed to assist municipalities and other taxing districts in acquiring tax-delinquent property for reuse as private development and tax reactivation or for tax exempt municipal use.
Private developers and others who would like to be a third-party requestor to a taxing district request should first contact the municipality in the area they are interested in redeveloping.
Any city, village, township or park district within the boundaries of Cook County, including the Forest Preserves of Cook County, may submit a request to participate.
For more details, view this No Cash Bid Fact Sheet.
