Service Information

Cook County Tourism Alive is a $10 million program that supports the tourism and hospitality industry in suburban Cook County.

Investments in the program go toward:

  • Supporting the five suburban convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs) in Cook County
  • Developing Outside Chicago, an initiative promoting outdoor activities in suburban Cook County
  • Developing a campaign called This is Your Wake Up Call, which supports awareness for career opportunities in tourism and hospitality through hiring events and other efforts
  • Participating in a regional tourism initiative called Visit Chicagoland

  • Chicago's North Shore CVB
  • Chicago Southland CVB
  • Meet Chicago Northwest
  • Rosemont CVB
  • Visit Oak Park
