With potentially accumulating snowfall followed by the season’s coldest temperatures, Cook County’s Animal and Rabies Control offers the following tips to keep pets safe and healthy during the winter months.

Cook County Animal and Rabies Control (CCARC) is now accepting applications for its Housing Cook County’s Animals grant program.

Cook County Animal and Rabies Control reminds residents to take advantage of low-cost rabies vaccines and free microchips before clinics conclude at the end of August. The four remaining clinics are all open 10 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.

Cook County Animal and Rabies Control released its 2019 low-cost rabies vaccine and microchip schedule. The first clinic is on Tuesday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Brookfield Village Hall, 8820 Brookfield Ave., Brookfield.
